1 v 2

So everyone tells me that you get 'bigger' quicker with second and subsequent children... The other day I took a pic of myself at 16 weeks and then compared it to me at 16 weeks with Abigail.

I was slimmer back then. In fact I weighed 4 kg's less as my start weight than this time.
I am a little bigger. I think! But not much! It's going to be interesting to see what happens throughout the rest of this pregnancy.

Getting to 16 weeks for me has been really important. A very very close friend of mine miscarried at 16 weeks at I have to say through this whole pregnancy that's all I have been able to think about. But starting to feel small movements (I still remember the first time I felt Abi move!) has started to put my mind at ease. So much so that I have finally bought the little bee its first gift! Now no more till after the 8th of October at my next scan when we will find out the sex!

  1. So exciting! I think more that you're carrying slightly higher rather than any bigger. But it's certainly easier for the second baby to be bigger, the body knows what it's doing this time around.
I love the excitement of finding out the sex!
