16 Weeks

16 weeks today.
Not much change in the belly area for the past 2 weeks.
I was (and still am) a little concerned that I wasn't putting on weight or getting any bigger.
I spoke to two of my friends that have told me not to worry and so has my mum.
Mum said she didn't show at all till about 6 months.
But I just can't shake my worry.
We have an appointment with the midwife at RPA on Monday so I'm going to bring it up then.

I also got so super exciting news yesterday! One of my best friends from school is pregnant!
She told me yesterday. She is due 3 weeks after me.
I updated my Facebook status to "And it's SOLD!" a few hours later I was just looking around on the net, and looked on FB again. I had a private message from her that read "So now that the house is sold, I hope your moving back to Melbourne so that our children can grow up together"

I'm so excited! It's some of the best news I have received since finding out about my own pregnancy!

As for the house. Yes! It's sold! We are just crossing our fingers that today the purchaser signs the 66W (Cooling off Waiver) so that we can bid at an auction tomorrow.

EDITED AT 4.44pm - Exchanged on our property! It's final! It's really and truly SOLD! Now for tomorrows auction...

  1. Just wanted to let you know I didn't put on anything until I was 28 weeks pregnant (I got bigger - I was loosing weight, baby was gaining it). I delivered a super healthy baby girl who was 7lb10oz and we left the hospital 36 hours later. But always a good idea to talk to a professional about your worries as a mothers intuition is rarely wrong...just remember there is a difference between intuition and fear. But it is normal to be more stressed with number one.

Anyway all my rambling is to say I am sure everything will be ok.

  2. That's fantastic news!!!! So glad the house sold and good luck with the auction.

  3. Wow that was quick, congratulations ans good luck tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

  4. If there is such a thing as mothers intuition then last night I am quite sure I felt the baby move!
Just fear that all is not well. Just lots of stress I think.

We are so so happy the house is sold! It's a horrible Sydney day today so we are hoping that means a good buying day for us!

  5. Just catching up Sammie - had not realised it had been so long since I've visited blogger-land! Wow - your little bump is so cute. And I wouldn't worry that you're not really showing. I've had friends who haven't really shown until mear the end.

Yay about your house! And good luck today.

Thanks for popping by!
I appreciate your comments.
