Slacker

I have been a bot of a slacker. Sorry.
We had a lovely lovely time in Byron for the weekend. The wedding was lovely. I will blog more about that when I have a picture or two to show you. I was a real slacker and didn't take any!
Loved spending time (what limited time we had) with my hubby.
Back to work on Tuesday and have had two very very busy days.

Feeling really down and frustrated. This baby making thing is just not going the way I thought it would. I was pretty cool about it all this month, but when reality hits that it hasn't happened again it is hard. REALLY hard. I even had a little cry today.

So that's it for me for now. I do have lots to blog about, but just not really feeling like it right now. I will be back in a couple of days. Don't even feel like putting a picture up. Sorry.

Take care all. And best wishes to Sass and Spice! She is currently in labour and blogging!!! Crazy girl!

  1. Hey Darlin
Sorry to hear you are feeling a bit flat.
Dont worry about not taking/posting any pictures.
Try not to feel too discouraged about the baby making. You haven't really been at it that long (although I know to you it must feel like ages)
It sounds like you've both had a bit of stress with the health scares and crazy work routines lately, which wouldnt be helping things either...
Go easy and be kind to yourself

  2. Sorry to hear you're feeling down :( I'm not an expert but maybe you could try and set yourself a realistic goal to keep your mind off it each month eg. I'll be thrilled if I'm pregnant by x month (not too close away so it can be a bonus if you do fall pregnant earlier ) but if not we'll go on a lovely holiday so either way you'll have something to look forward to. Also, my friend went to a naturopath after 9 mths of trying and she fell pregnant the next month, so that might be an option down the track x

  3. I agree with the other two ladies, I don't think you should get yourself too down. It takes an average of 6 months to fall pregnant, and by the sounds of it you haven't been at it for too long. I am sure it will happen sooner rather than later. It is hard, as each month you have such an obvious reminder that it hasn't worked and you have to wait the whole of the next month to try again. I saw a naturopath who was also a fertility specialist before we started trying and she worked absolute wonders with a combo of potions and tablets. It took us no time. Perhaps you could look into that. Good luck, xx
