If you're happy and you know it...

CLAP YOUR HANDS!

Up until a few days ago Abi couldn't/wouldn't clap hands...
I was a little worried to tell you the truth. Don't kids normally start clapping hands at 8-10 months?

Anyway. Now she can and wont stop!

Off to a very special lunch today. Must take photos!

(Please excuse my voice in the video... Not sure what's going on there??? I don't sound at all like that!)

  1. Too cute. Eve didn't clap til well after her first birthday, it worried me a bit but since she figured it out she hasn't stopped.

  2. Go Abi! Georgie is One on Tuesday and still doesn't clap. She kind of slaps her hands on each other. I'm not worried - she says four words and she's almost walking. Some kids just do some things faster. She'll clap when she's ready.

    1. And here I was thinking I was the only one with a child over one and not clapping!
      You at so right though...
Georgie 1 !!! Wow! Where has this past year gone!

  3. A non-clapping baby over here too! Alexandra is nearly 11 months and doesn't clap... not concerned as she's a pretty bright spark in every other regard (massive parental bias of course). LOL

  4. GEORGIE IS NOW CLAPPING!! I am so relieved. But now she won't stop... Everything needs a standing ovation. Every nappy change, every mouthful of food, every block back into her container....

I wonder if I secretly preferred it when she wasn't an applause junkie.
