BARGAIN / SALE ALERT!!!

Many many months ago, before Abi could even walk! (possibly before she could even crawl!) It was recommended that the perfect second birthday present was a scooter.
I was also recommended the Mini Micro.
Fast forward to the weekend and we had some very dear friends from Sydney come and stay and we were chatting about scooters.
My friends little boy is the same age as Abi but much more advanced that her! Completely adorable and they got along and played so well!
Anyway... She had been looking at scooters and showing me how they still went for crazy prices even on ebay!
I turned the computer on and completely randomly stumbled across a Rebel Sport sale and found the scooters at 50% off!

If you or someone you know are in the market for a scooter for their little one then this scooter comes highly recommended by lots of people I know!
I can't recommend myself just yet, but I can in a few months! I bought one today and put it away for Abi's second birthday present! That's why they are her nearly new wheels!

I was broken. I was back to having nothing to wear.
Then 45 minuits before we had to leave for my cousins wedding the post man arrived at my front door!
My dress arrived! Just in time!
I was over the moon! Love the dress!

We had a super time! The wedding was just lovely. It was so special to be a part of such a wonderful day.

Can not wait to wear the dress again!

UNTIL! I had the help of some very special friends and helped me to virtual shop!
Don't you just love technology these days!
After numerous posted pics 'we' finally found and agreed on  this navy Veronika Maine dress.
I've always been a fan of VM and even wore VM to our Engagement party many years ago. In Fact I still wear the dress now! (except it's a little on the tight side ATM)
Even more exciting was that it was on sale! It's on it's way to me via Australia Post thanks to the wonderful girls at the Bourke Street store (Sophie to be exact!)

We have my cousins wedding on Friday afternoon! And I can not wait!

I think Abigail will be dressed in Collette Dinnigan for Target sequin bolero and dusty pink tutu! Perhaps just a little plain singlet underneath?
Seriously how adorable is the CD for Target range! And also well and truly on sale now! Both of these items were originally over $40 and are now reduced to less than $15
They start from a size 3 and although Abigail is no where near being a size 3! They still fit quite well and will last some time.
There's no flower girls to upstage either! Just better be careful she doesn't take the limelight away from the stunning bride!
I have bought 2 x tutus with a vision for Abigail's bedroom. I think I might get one more now and make it a trio!
Love the range but don't want to risk a trip to the shops to find that they don't have what you are after? Target do have delivery or there's always the 'click and collect' option!

Bubble Bubble toile and FUN!

So now that I have given up the gig (work) - perhaps to return but not sure when and to what?
I thought it was time to get a little budget conscious.

I will try to post at least once a week something I am doing or planning on doing that's budget conscious and actually worthwhile or fun. (Sometimes I see the most ridiculous things that just make me think What The???)

Today it's all about the BUBBLES!

Abi just LOVES bubbles.
Way back when she was a little wee one and before we moved to Melbourne we had a long weekend with my folks in the Hunter Valley.

At our visit to Petersons House Abi just loved the bubbles coming from the ceiling!
Not much has changed and she still LOVES bubbles!

While at the supermarket the other day I picked up one of these:

$2 guys! YES! $2 for hours of fun and child entertainment! And what's better is that this tube is reusable! a bit of dishwashing liquid or bubble bath and water and your done!
The best bit to me was that I can just wave the wand. no blowing and getting that lightheaded feeling!

Also, they could be a prefect party favour! Look at what a friend recently did for her daughters first birthday! so much better than lollies that rot teeth and turn the children hyper!

Hello again! I'm back!
Why???
I resigned from my job last week and finish next week! I'm going back to being a mum for a little bit before deciding what's next and what I want to do.

The career was taking way too much of my time. It was taking me away from my family and it was making me miserable.

So, I thought that now was as good a time as any to return to my blog.
I am still yet to work out what direction it will take but I feel it needs direction...

Hope you are looking forward to a more regular me!!! (I know I am!)
