Happily Wedded Bliss

We waited ages and ages and ages to get our wedding photos back.

We got them about 2 weeks ago and I love this picture, because it makes me think about our future and the long (but happy and fun) road ahead.

My life so far...

So, I thought I would stat off with how The Husband and I met...
I used to work for a car company and I still remember the day I started... I was checking out the phone list to see who was who etc... I noticed that the General Manager of the wholesale department was (what I thought) a female! I got really excited thinking "Gee, I'm so glad that females can make a go of it and get so high up in a mans world"

Then, a couple of days later I met... HIM!

I ended up becoming very good friends with HIS assistant. Even moved in together for a little while.

One night, after being single for about 6 months my friend the assistant asked me if I wanted to go out to a party in the city. I went. HE went and well the rest is kind of history.

I wasn't drinking, so I offered to drive HIM home, HE accepted and asked if I wanted to go and check out the apartment he had just bought that day. So off we went to check it out (from the outside - keys to come 6 weeks later).

It was fun, we talked and talked and talked.

But he kept asking if he could come back to my place for "a cup of tea" Well I didn't let him! And I took him straight home. (I have later found out that his brother did the same with his now girlfriend (sneaky boys)

And I can say that from that moment, we have been pretty much inseparable.

It was love at second sight?

So, I thought I would start a blog...
Why? What on earth would I do that for!
Well, I recently got married! (yay!) and my darling husband and I are about to embark on the wonderful world they call renovations!!!
I have no idea how it's all going to go, but why not? This could be a really great place to talk about my ideas, joys, lows, anything really!
